A Tour of a Quaint Area, Whitemarsh Addition
When looking for real estate it's important to take into account not just the house and neighborhood itself, but also the town or city surrounding the home. What does the town offer? What amenities are available? How's the school district? Is the area family friendly? Today we take a look at Whitemarsh Pennsylvania. Whitemarsh Pennsylvania is a quaint upscale community in Montgomery County PA. Minutes from Gladwyne, Conshohocken, and 30 minutes by car to the city of Philadelphia. Whitemarsh PA has much to offer for the family life. Right on the cusp of Whitemarsh and Philadelphia sits Wissahickon Valley Park (Valley Green) as known by "locals." With 2,000 acres of hiking and biking rails, fishing spots, picnic spots, and cool places to walk your dog. It surely will please any outdoor enthusiast and their family. I would highly recommend checking it out in the fall the foliage is beautiful! Nuzzled half a mile away from Wissahickon Valley Park is Whitemarsh Valley Country Club established in 1908. The upper echelon of Golf Courses in Montgomery county. If you are a golfer and like a beautiful, challenging, well manicured course, while enjoying fine dining and gorgeous venues. Then this country club is right up your alley. Or should I say fairway? One of the last things on my list of amenities of Whitemarsh is Plymouth Whitemarsh High School, of which I attended. If you're interested in a quality school district that is outside the city limits of Philadelphia, this district may be worth looking into. Ranked 1,243 out of 17,792 in national rankings for high schools and #30 in the Philadelphia metro area. With great statistics on schools comes with expensive home prices so be mindful! Theses are just some of the attracting amenities of Whitemarsh Pennsylvania.
